You know when you go to a website like Wikipedia that requires you to enter in a field for research... and after typing in a couple keys you get a drop-down list of a bunch of entries you've typed in since however long you've had your computer...

Is there a way to get rid of that list? Mine is now about 10,000 miles long, and I'd like to start anew.

Help!

Clear your internet cache and history.
I've cleared my history a time or two, and the drop-down still pops up.

How do I clear my cache?

If Internet Explorer ver 6
Click on Tools menu and select "Internet Options" - Under the general tab select "delete cookies" and "delete files". Restart browser afterwards.

If Internet Explorer ver 7
Click on Tools (either on menu bar or to the right of address bar - little "gear" icon) and select "Delete Browsing History". You'll see where you can delete cookies, cache and other things. Restart browser afterwards.

Firefox
Click on Tools from menu bar. Select "Clear Private Data".
