Guess he heard I was on vacation this week. Came to Independence on my first day off, but we didn't have a chance to hook up.
I had to go to the bank, the store, and do some stuff around the house.
Seriously, wifey and I had breakfast at a little diner a few block from our house around 10:30am, then went up to the Independence Square to put our "Stimulus Check" in the bank...
Anyway, we were going up to the bank, and these Independence Cops and Jackson County Sheriff's cop cars were all over the joint. Turns out Obama was doin' the schmooze at the Truman Memorial Building, right down the street from our bank.
Didn't see him, but saw plenty of cops, sign waving Obamaniacs, and his tour bus. He was inside speechifyin' when I went by.
Too bad he didn't stop by the Blowfish abode for a beer.
