Fire Me Boy!

My wife had a good day for tips this weekend, so we're splurging.

I'm doing some homemade rice pilaf, some crab and lobster stuffed mushrooms, and I bought some snow and king crab that I'll steam.

I'm ready for dinner.

smoked up 3 slabs of ribs yesterday and then had to go to a birthday party that I forget about. So, I am gettin down on some pork ribs tonight. I will probably do some corn on the cob and a salad. The maters and lettuce in the garden are rockin.

I prefer the taste of snow crab better, it has that hint of sweetness to it and it's easier to eat

Yeah. I really don't mind cooking and I'm actually pretty good at it if I do say so myself. But man, when you work all day and go home in time to eat then go to the gym you just don't feel like taking an hour to get something done. Probably not the healthiest of situations but man it sucks not to have some homemade food.

Sure, but considering 90% of the country's tomatoes are grown in Florida we get some good quality, fresh ones (for store-bought, atleast).

I made some pretty solid pasta last night and have plenty left over. Simple, good and good for you. 1 lb of ground turkey, an onion, green pepper, a couple cloves of garlic, fresh basil and just added that to a couple of jars of pasta sauce. Wheat Rigatoni. I'm about 15 lbs into my 40 lb weight loss plan so I need to eat somewhat healthy

Did you guys catch them in fresh or saltwater? Ive caught quite a few at Table Rock lake here in MO. I would love to go striper fishing in the Atlantic.

Both, Chesapeake Bay. I'm not sure the salinity, but we were in the northwest (Annapolis area), so I'm guessing pretty light. I'm told that in the Spring they get the 3 and 4 footers coming through though. We caught our limit in 5 hours, throwing back a few 18-20" fish. Got enough fish to last until our next trip a month from now.
