So, my co-worker scored two tix to the Harmonix/EA ROCKBAND Party at E3.
It was held in a historical art deco theater downtown. Suhweet venue, open bar, lots of rock band games set up. and at 9 pm who takes the stage...

THE WHO?

THEEEEE WHO.

It was awesome. We were like 20 rows back, the place was packed and ROger and Pete were totally into it, making banter all night.

I like the band but wouldn't consider myself a "fan," more of an admirer. But they kicked A$$$$$$$. AWESOME show.

Feeling lucky over here. One of the first times I've been to a show where I feld just OK about the band and was completely blown away.

Gonna download the WHO pack for my Rockband right now.

Right on, man. Congrats.

I'm a big fan of The Seeker, My Generation, and Who are You.

I'm not a huge fan either, but you've gotta respect those guys. True rock icons.

I took some pics with my phone but they look all blown out. White blurs on stage. I'll try to transfer some in a bit and see what I get.

Oh and I took my wife to see YAZ at that same theater last Thursday. Another great show. Like a 70-minute breakup tape.

Bastard! :)

Orpheum Theater. I got the call for that and the VH-1 Honors.

Unfortunately, I missed both! VH-1 Honors are on all this weekend in HD.

I hope you had a BLAST!

Oh, and you were right across the street from the Pilates Studio. Did you hit Broadway Bar after? :D

If a person can't laugh at that routine, there is something wrong with them. ROFL

The fact that they delivered that in one continuous shot without losing their place is just plain amazing.

I mean, here we are talking about it, and it happened before either of us were born. It stands the test of time.

Sorry about the hijack, Tiny E.
