No. He came within a missed field goal, though. Stay tuned to Warpaint Illustrated for more offseason coverage of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Holy Sh*t! ROFL Herm/Title Game? ROFL

This is priceless... The way Herm coaches his teams will never earn a berth to the title game... Almost as funny as mentioning Marty and Superbowl! Another classic joke!

On the Jets final drive, down by 2 points, and we're at Pittsburgh's 35 yard line, it was 3rd down and still plenty of time on the clock. Remember that Pittsburgh is notoriously tough to make FG's at and this was in January.

So on 3rd down, instead of running another play (also keep in mind that we had a Hall Of Fame runningback, who also was rushing champ that year), Herm decides to take a knee, let 4th down come and then attempt the kick. Of course taking a knee means that the LOS is moved back 3-5 yards. So Herm purposefully makes the kick more difficult, Doug Brien misses, season over :cuss:

I'll always f**ing hate Herm for that, jackass buffoon.
