I live in New Mexico and I see all sorts of unusual flying things but I've never seen a flying lawnmower. Now that they've been established, one of them will probably show up at this year's balloon fiesta.

I'd recommend everyone show that to the kids. My daughter loved it, she asked me to save it for her. Fun for the whole family!

No, it's really easy cause there's no grass.

Wow.. Have not seen that in years. Anyway to ruin your fun.. Its not really a lawnmower or even made of metal..

They also have speedboats or is it hydrofoils that go on water and then take off into the air also..

And RC cars...

That's ok, my kid is 5, she thinks it's a flying lawnmower........well, she thinks it's a model plane shaped like a lawnmower but that's fine too. The suspension of disbelief.

If I were a bird and saw that thing coming after me, I'd think I'd pee my feathers.

There was a girl from my high school who was mowing her lawn one day and inadvertently ran over her foot. Her parents took her to the doctor right away, but it was too late and she lost one toe entirely and two others wound up having no bones in them, so they were kind of floppy like the type of ear lobes that aren't attached to a person's head. Anyway, on school trips one of the other girls used to talk her into taking off her shoe on the bus so they could flip her toe lobes. She said it tickled but I think she was little embarrassed, to be honest.

FAX has an uncanny ability to take a weird thread... to the next level.

I have so many questions.

Mostly about "toe-lobes".

What's really interesting is that, with advances in medical science progressing at such a phenomenally rapid rate, we can soon expect that people who lose their ear lobes in an accident should be able to have them replaced by toe donors.

Floppy toe syndrome is more common than you think. And high school girls can be so mean.

The American Toe Lobe Society is making great strides in public awareness and through tireless lobbying efforts before the Federal Government toward the acceptance of Toe Lobism both in the workplace and society at large.

I was especially pleased to learn that their last fund raising drive brought in a great deal of money which is earmarked for research. I was also very glad that, in order to encourage donations, they chose not to sell jam.
