If there's anybody that knows what it means to be too ignorant and stupid to be on TV, it would surely be John Gibson.

1. Olberman is not fat
2. Olberman is a POS

Only because you don't agree with him politically. Also, have you seen him? He is kind of chunky.

Nah, Olbermann's actually managed to keep his TV gig. Gibson? Not so much.

Not for long.... his ratings are terrible

That's really not true.

FOX usually beats him but he is consistently second in the ratings for cable news.

If Obama wins this fall, how will Olbermann have a program in '09? Will the entire hour be anti Fox News discussions? How much mileage will he be able to get with the "Bush to be charged with war crimes?" material?

Olbermann's show is a lot of things, but analysis isn't one of them. For this to occur, there should be an attempt to have some intellectual back-and-forth with someone on the other side.

If Obama wins, there's rumor that Fox may flip to the left. Murdoch's rumored to be testing the winds to see if backing an Obama administration would provide better ratings than playing contrarian.

Yes, yes.

Olbermann competes in the O'Reilly slot, no? Does the former bring in disagreeing voices? Though O'Reilly certainly comes from the right, at least he brings in left wingers so that he can shout over them and call them names. :)

Olbermann's entire schtick is anti-Bush and anti-Fox. I honestly have doubts about his ability to widen his scope.

I'm not alluding to the network as a whole.

I actually kinda liked his Soup cameo. But I loved Simon Pegg and Jessica Hynes.

A black president and a Democrat-backing Fox News. It would be like actually waking up in an alternate universe.
