I went to a Royals game last week. They still do not sell Joakim Soria shirts there. However, I was surprised to discover that they have these in stock, and they aren't even sold out yet!

The jersey you are wearing in your avatar has cheap, knock off lettering. Did you buy it off some chink in a swap meet? You aren't wearing the official gear dude.

no, actually i got it from mlb.com, and got my money back cause it sucks.

It's inexcusable if a ML team doesn't stock the jersey of its own (and only) All-Star representative. Tough to listen to Moore's bullshit about 2.5 mil. fans regardless, but especially so if the organization isn't even prepared to take the money that its own fans want to give.

This is yet another symptom of a larger problem, and people wonder why the product on the field has been a joke for so long.

Could it possibly be that the Soria tshirts are sold out? For f*cks sake, I can't believe the level of stupidity displayed here sometimes.

It's fairly common that the pro-shop at the K isn't properly stocked with player jerseys, so it would be consistent with the way that they do business for them not to have Soria shirts period.

Or, and this is an unbelievable idea, make sure that it's sufficiently stocked so that the organization can take the customers' money. Wow.

I can't believe this. The Glass family has been running a high-quality organization for years. Sure, the team loses 100 games regularly, but everything else is top shelf. Not possible. The team itself is just a fungus toe on an otherwise perfect body.

Well damn, whoever is responsible for that needs to be replaced. In fact that is flat out pathetic. Firstoff for not having the jersey, 2nd for having someone ignorant enough working there to not know who he is.

If you worked at Royals stadium to make ends meet would you watch the games?

I wouldn't. I'd be completely ambivalent. It would be kinda like the Zamboni driver being a passionate ice skater. It would be like a pornography photographer having a subscription to Playboy. It's against all laws of nature, dude.

Cool. I don't believe I ever have, but I will definitely remember not to criticize these types of workers in the future. Good stuff to know.

I stand by my comments about the Glass family operating a half-ass organization from the top down, however.

810 gave away a bunch of them. Asked for a $5+ donation at least. They'd release the name of a local business and have 500 or so there for people to go get. They went pretty fast from what I heard. Probably a good deal for the local business too.

I might be going to Lawrence on Sat with the mrs and sis-in-law,I'll have to make sure I wear a Mizzou shirt :D

On second thought I've been in the mrs doghouse too much lately, maybe I'll let that idea slide and save the next doghouse visit for something better.
