If you've never played a confidence pick 'em here's how it works

Confidence Points are used to give a different weight to each game in a given week. You'll assign a point value (from 1 to 15 if there are 15 games, 1 to 14 if there are 14 games, etc.) to each game based on how strongly you feel about the accuracy of your pick. If your pick is correct, you'll receive points equal to the confidence-point value you associated with that game.
So, if you pick Pittsburgh to beat Dallas and assign the game a confidence point value of 15, you'd get 15 points for a correct pick, but no points if Dallas wins. You don't lose points for an incorrect pick.
Each week's points will be tallied, and the player finishing with the highest total at the end of the year will be the winner of the group.
Each confidence point value may be used only once per week. So, during a 15-game week, after you've assigned 15 points to a game, your next highest available value is 14 points.
Please note that only Private Groups can elect to incorporate confidence points.

from any of the Sunday games the scoring is fairly basic 1 pt for 25 yds passing.6 pts all td's,1/10th of a point per yard for rushing receiving,1pt for int,sack or fumble recovery,if your D has an int and they run back you also get 1/10th of a point for each return yard,there's also bonus points if your D holds the other team to so many points and your coach gets a 5pt bonus if he wins his game.

We mail the money to the winner.

I'm in too, fellas. I know we're not going to gamble here, but for the last couple of years I've been doing this with another group. It costs a dollar/week and a bottle of booze at the end of the season - winner takes all. It's a lot of fun and by the time everything's said and done, it only costs about $35 for the whole season to play. If you win you get $16/player and a bottle of booze from each player....With around 16-20 players/season, the winner ends up with some nice cash and a stocked bar!

Say of all the games opening week you like the Pats over the Chiefs more than any other game.Then you'd give that game your #16 because it's your favorite,from there you go all the way to #1 which would be your least favorite.Any game you pick right that's the number of points you get,then it's tallied for the week for a total.
