It's not only hot here but it's dry too. It's so dry we have two year old bullfrogs who don't know how to swim.

Poor thing. I had spring babies so I never really had to deal with being very preggars and mean heat. My heart goes out to you.

i like heat better than cold, and as long as i sstay inside i can stand it. however i'm sure its carl's fault, and i'm pretty sure herm is somehow repsonsible as well.

I don't mind the heat, it's great for all my aching joints, but the eleventy billion percent humidity is ****ing unbearable. I can't see how anyone could enjoy that.

Yeah, people in Denver act like 90 degrees is inside the core of an Atomic Bomb. 90 degrees in arid Colorado is pretty nice compared to Kansas City's humidity.

Fire up the grill outside.

It's too hot for a lasagna in the oven.

The only thing that should be cooked inside is bacon for BLTs.

I am assuming the air conditioner is already fired up.

105 Heat index?????

I'd have taken that today. I saw one thermometer this afternoon that said 117. Most I saw at a similar time were 110-112 degress. I thought only Arizona residents got this kind of heat.

I lived in the desert in by the Dead Sea in Israel for 3 months in the middle of the summer one year. 120 degrees was normal. Because there was no humidity it felt like about 88 degrees with humity back in Missouri.
