The Patriots have announced the signing of veteran offensive lineman John Welbourn. To make room for Welbourn, the team released undrafted rookie DL Chris Norwell. Welbourn, 32, is a veteran of nine NFL seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles (1999-2003) and Kansas City Chiefs (2004-07).

Hmmm, he hasn't been on a roster this year until now. Wonder how much roids it will take for him to get back in playing shape. ;)

With Rodney HGHarrison, Tedy "stroke at 30" Bruschi, and that lineman who got popped for pills, they probably signed Welbourn just to get the number of his dealer.

If Herm Edwards couldn't get production out of him, what makes Bill Belichick think he can?

Stop looking at me.

That's right. They did it with Monty Beisel and Eric Warfield and just look at them now.

EDIT: Oh, wait...

Oh, and Welbourn's gonna roid up, play against the Chiefs, get busted and suspended and retired all by Week Four.
