From Marc Ambinder:
If there were a group of questionable donations all with the name Abdullah
that were funneled through a guy in Jordan
who is a Jordanian national
who is under investigation for war profiteering
and it were Barack Obama
instead of John McCain
would this be a bigger deal?

This guy is tied not only to profiting from Mideast oil, he also profits from WAR. Yet another reason to be suspicious of McCain's foriegn policies and pro-war stance.
I suspect his use of a Jordanian person to raise funds was perhaps a way to make McCain look more appealing to the Muslim American population while masking his motive of profiting from McCains hawkish foriengn policies.

The illeagality of the contribution troubles me, but I find it just as disturbing that the owner of company that profits from Mideast oil and War was behind the scenes of the contribution.
Lets not forget the contributions given to the Clintons and Al Gore that came from the Chineese military. McCain nor the Republicans are alone in recieving questionable campaign contributions.
