i am looking to get a t.v. for my back room. I'd like to get a 32 inch 1080p. here is my dilema I can get a knock off with 1080 or a sharp aqous 720 for the same price. If all other things were equal which would you choose? I mainly use this t.v. for playing the 360 if this info helps
Thanks

Get the 720p Aquos no doubt

1080p is better on tvs bigger than 32" and you dont really notice too much of a difference 32" and below on 720 vs 1080p, thats why all tvs under 32 are 720p only

I picked up an open box Samsung 32A550 from Nebraska Furniture Mart a couple weeks ago for $670. Got the $70 4 year warranty.

Great TV for that price. I will be using it as a secondary Monitor otherwise I'd agree with Guru. You don't need 1080p at 32" unless you are sitting within 3-5 feet.

For a 720p, I'd look for the Samsung 32A450. I've seen it on sale for as low as $600 and it should be getting clearanced in the near future.

So you think the Samsungs are superior to the Sonys?
