Anyone have a Canon all-in-one printer?

My Canon all-in-one MP830 had a paper jam today, and I keep getting an error message that apparently only Canon service centers can fix.

What sucks is that the nearest service center is 90 miles from my house.

I keep getting the error message 6A00. When the paper jammed, the lever on the ink tray broke, so I don't know what that does.

Looks as if I'll be purchasing a new printer today unless someone has experience with this.

Looks like a number of people on the thread tried several different things that fixed it themselves.

To boot, the lever for the ink cradle is unfixable.

2 years? I have had a refurbished HP 2175 PSC for 5 years and I did have to clean the glass once on the scanner so it could find the start point. Paid $75 5 years ago.

No other problem in over 5 years. Cleaning the glass took a torx driver and 10 minutes. It has printed over 10,000 pages since I got it.

Do yourself a favor, spend the extra money and get a laser printer. Preferably a Lexmark, Epson or HP (in that order).
