I'm going to post mine now, before the amazing window shots that follow put me to shame.

Here is my window from the second floor, in my bedroom. It's calm, woodsy, and peaceful.

I don't know how to operate my cell camera, let alone transfer a photo to the computer, but were I to look out my window right now, I would see a hillside leading up to wooded forest. No neighbors, no office buildings, no streets, no light poles, just green grass, trees, and the occasional black dog chasing a squirrel. Could be worse.

One window faces north, a new apartment complex under construction. They've completed framing on the 1st floor. I hear it's going to be 4 stories. The crew starts at 7:00 AM and at 3:30 they're packing up tools and going home. The other window faces west. There is a kosher chinese restaurant right across the street. It's called chick 'n chow. The window has a cartoon painting of a chicken juggling a chicken leg, hamburger, hotdog, a whole cooked chicken and an order of fries and a cartoon painting of a buck tooth Asian wearing a beanie cooking some kind of noodles in a wok. The guy that owns the place is an orthodox jew. Quite diverse.

Cool thread. Here's my view. I look right over the roof of a concert hall that draws kinda B-/C+-list performers, and straight into a high-rise apartment building. Once you get over the fear that the building is about to fall onto you, it's kind of cool, because the apartments have these very unusual internal decks, so you can see people go out and look around or have a smoke in their pajamas. My building has smoked glass, so I don't think they can see me. No naked women sightings yet, though.

It's rather uncannily similar to the Sims video game.
