...brush up on your football knowledge.

“I talked to a few NFL people and very few have him as a successful NFL quarterback,” an NFL agent said. “One guy told me he had him as his No. 1 fullback.”

He runs the ball 20 times a game at Florida. He'll be lucky to have any legs under him by the time his college career is over. He's not a pro-style QB at all. He runs a variation of the spread that has no place in the NFL. Same reason (not to mention their size) Todd Reesing and Chase Daniel will never be NFL starters.

I agree Brodie isn't the answer long term, but Tim Tebow certainly isn't, either.

We'll pick best available, it won't matter the position, because we have a LOT of holes.

We'll HAVE to get a franchise QB if he's there.

Numbers are almost identical. The win percentage is the only thing separating the two. But Stafford is surrounded by far and away better talent.

I suppose Stafford is the hot pick now..considering the abismal state of the QB class of 2009. I guess if we have to pick a turd, it might as well be the prettiest in the toilet bowl.

DaKCMan will be along shortly to provide you with statistics and game footage showing why Tebow doesn't suck as a QB prospect...but he still does.

If Carl Peterson and Dick Curl drafted Peyton Manning, Peyton Manning would probably be giving a presentation with bar graphs and sitting in a cubical come Monday Morning.

There are bigger problems than who's at QB holding this team back and until they are solved this team might as well be pissing in the wind.

Find me one example where I've done this.

Tebow is an excellent college QB. I think his performance this year will determine whether or not his game is NFL ready (or if it never will be).

Re: Stafford/Tebow

We'll know more after this season, because Florida is supposedly cutting Tebow's carries way down. If he can put up passing numbers similar to last season, while existing primarily as a pocket passer, I'll be less skeptical.

As things stand right now, I'd go with Stafford. So much of Tebow's productivity to this point has been based on his ability to run the football, and Stafford runs a more traditional pro-style offense at Georgia. QB's who haven't taken more than a handful of snaps under center in their collegiate careers make me nervous.

Yeah Urban said he feels much better about the running back situation this year and wants them to carry more of the load. Im interested to see how Moody will do this season. He did well during the spring game though he did have a fumble or two. We only have to wait one more week to find out.

Last I heard Moody wasn't first on their depth chart...I really dislike that guy, transferred out because he couldn't beat out the other RB's at SC then complained he didn't like there being a rotation and wanted to be "the guy". At his strange uncles urging I might add, that he was better than every other RB at SC and they were misusing him or some stupid shit like that.

So he transfers to Florida and within 2 weeks he is hosting recruits visits, with guys who had SC interest...I love Meyer there "quick Emmanuel tell them how SC sucks!"

I know that's all part of the game but I have very little nice stuff to say about that guy, he had the same chance everyone else did and then when he was on the bottom at the chart cause the other guys were better he whined and acted like it wasn't fair.

Moody will be in the mix. I'm not a big fan but Kestahn Moore will still get some carries but I'm hearing he may play more of a FB role, which I'm more than fine with.
