I'll admit I'm part of that. I ordered some stuff off the site at 4 PM. So I contributed.

I'm stoked... finally woke up the party. The base is finally behind McCain... She's a good pic... much better than Romney and Pawlenty.

thank you for your thoughts.

You can't make that up, its documented and released in reports... clown.

Then why is it a "claim"? Why isn't it a fact?

You're nonstop cheerleading is enough to turn off even the most steadfast Republicans.

IMHO I honestly don't believe McCain vetted her at all.

The stuff that is coming out now especially about her being anti-Semite and her investigation up in Alaska just isn't very good for her or McCain. I think he made a horrible mistake.

Time magazine doesn't deal in facts these days.

Jake predicted it,

or not.

He missed on his 1000 predictions again?

Odds should be in his favor, I mean 1 out of 1000 claims, every time?

That investigation is small potatoes. If it's the BIL firing. And the anti-Semite smear is something that gets used too easily. What did she say? Did she criticize a NC or Israeli settlements?

I disagree the investigation is going to be made public on Oct 31 which is bad timing. They have audio of them making threats to fire this guy.

Also the anti-Semitic stems for her support of Pat Buchanan which most jews view as anti-semitic from some of his statements.

Read here http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/

Also here is blog that talks about her Alaska investigation http://mudflats.wordpress.com/2008/08/29/what-is-mccain-thinking-one-alaskans-perspective/

Don't use blanket sweeping generalities about how Jews feel about Pat because it's not really as true as it's made out to be. That's a common tactic on Pat. He had two rabbis run his past 2 pres campaigns. It stems from his provocative views on WWII but he is very, very anti-war idealistically so. Read Don Feder from Boston (I'll get the link) who knows Pat likes, him and is Jewish. Jewish World Review (http://www.jewishworldreview.com/cols/feder092999.asp)

I've never heard of supporting Pat being anti-semite in itself. He won the NH primary once. He does have some anti-semite supporters. But Pat, if you don't take his writings out of context, which has been done many times is not anti-semite. I read those controversies. And those attacks have always originated from the same sources too.

I'm kinda saddened this guy didn't post a link in his post but he's pretty well informed nonetheless. He says this:

Supporters will point to the fact that she vetoed a bill that would have done away with partnership benefits for gay state employees, but she did that only after the Alaska Supreme Court had ruled the opposite and her AG had told her the law was unconstitutional. She publicly disagreed with that ruling and supported a referendum to have the state constitution amended to overturn it.

Are you really all that surprised that a former beauty queen who is staunchly pro "life", advocates creationism, and is under investigation for corruption wouldn't be a hit on the Republican rubber chicken circuit?
