But if you can't believe NFL Juice, who can you believe?

http://www.nfljuice.com/2008/08/29/breaking-tom-brady-to-miss-2-4-games/

This just in.

We’ve received news from a reliable news source, that would like to remain anonymous (initials E.B. who is a writer for the _______ News), that Tom Brady will likely be missing between two and four weeks of the regular season.

This is not yet confirmed, so don’t get all pissy with us.

Stay tuned to the Juice for verification!

PS- The last tip this guy gave us was balls on. Wow. Again, don’t get your panties all in a bundle…yet.

There aren't any expectations even with Matt Castle starting, I hear ya though. It's just that evident we have a loooooooooooooooooong way to go and if this rumor is true, the media will be making fun of the Chiefs even more saying stuff like, "Pats have to be thankful starting off with the Chiefs this year and playing the AFC West". Get ready!:shake:

Not me. A W is a W. I would take it. Do you know what that would do for the confidence of this young team?

Hate to say it but if the Chiefs pull off a miracle it will be because the Pats haven't psychologically recovered from last year and will beat themselves.

This rumor is BS...

Brady looks healthy at practice

Tom Brady, QB NE
News: Tom Brady was back at practice with the Patriots on Sunday, reports the team's official website. Brady took part in passing drills with the other quarterbacks and showed no signs of being hindered by his recent foot injury.
Analysis: Fantasy owners can breathe a sigh of relief knowing the No. 1 QB and first-round pick in all leagues will be on the field for Week 1.

Not so fast... Brady has BEEN practicing. This isnt a new revelation. And yet despite the fact that he has been on the practice field, plenty of key people in Boston suspect there is something more than a little wrong with him.

If there really is something wrong, they arent going to give it away. Brady will practice all week like everything is fine, and then he will be a last minute scratch.

Uh? Have you never seen a NE injury report and then compared it to the gameday starters? They are notorious for providing some of the most vague and misleading injury reports. There isn't anything specifically wrong with it, just if there is Pats player with an injury chances are you won't know for sure how bad the injury is until gameday. They play the info about their injuries really close to the vest.
