I have been a big fan of Styx for many years and had always heard that there was a short movie to go along with the storyline for Mr Roboto. While not even close to my favorite album of theirs I had always wondered about the movie. Well, I found a Styx DVD at Sam's club for $9.99 the other day and it included the "missing" movie. Basically the entire concert was tied in with the movie which leads off and then they wrap back to it at the end. Overall, very enjoyable for a Styx fan who has wanted to see this thing for many years with some of my favorite songs included.

Can't disagree there. Unfortunately they will never be what they once were even if DDY wasn't an ass.

That was one of my favorite albums. Of course, that was when I was about 12 and I think I wore out that album.

DDY forced that movie concept on the rest of the band. They are all on record as not wanting to do it. Something about it was broadcast on VH1 awhile back.

I followed Styx up until Cornerstone and didn't much care for that project but it was given to me as birthday gift.Whenever I hear the band's name though one great song immediately comes to mind.

I saw Styx on their Kilroy Was Here tour and they started the concert with that movie. While I loved some of the earlier Styx stuff, I thought that whole "Kilroy" concept was pretty stupid.

Yeah, that one is right up there as well, definitely a classic.
