Trav,

You do realize....you can parse just about any member of Congress, in a similar fashion?

You do realize....that this Congress (the past two years) will go down as one of the least productive with fewer bills passed than all but a hand-full of other Congresses in the 20th and 21st Centuries? And you do realize that over half of all Congressional votes are on incidental/non-binding/irrelevant "bills" which never, really, see the light of day?

You do realize these things, don't you....Trav? I mean, seriously.

I'm still intending to vote Obama in November and all, but this slander and mischaracterization of an very accomplished and honorable, and historically bipartisan man, is really beginning to make me sick to the stomach.

:shake:

Of course, not sick enough that I won't be able to meet you Saturday night....for BBQ at, say, Gates....or Haywood's....or Marty's....or Smoke-house....for an evening dinner on Saturday night (between 7 and 8 pm?)...but "sick" in the metaphoric sense. Heh.

;)

Red States and battle ground states....consider Vanilla Ice, "hip-hop." Bad analogy, Zach.

KC, St. Paul-Minneapolis, Columbus, Dover, Sante Fe, and Denver may not be Springfield, Sioux Falls, Lincoln or St. Joseph.....but they damn sure are not New York, San Francisco, South-side Chicago, or LA.

If "our (ironic, ain't it)" man is to win, his advisors better figure out that NOW, rather than later.

Jim,

All shit-stirring aside, how can you put this post out there....given McCain's long history (not jus the last two years)....on McCain-Feingold, on stem-cell research, on water-boarding/"torture," on global-warming, and on a host of other issues? Seriously. How do you reconcile those stark contrasts?

Iraq, okay; the "Surge"....sorry, but Bush and McCain got that right; and mundane other meaningless bills which don't affect you or me in any significant way? Okay, got me I guess.

But that ain't the shit that matters to me; nor, would it have mattered to the "old" Jim. But, hey, if conservative-turned-libertarian-turned-liberal drama-queen theatrics helps you sleep at night, go for it. Of course, you know I'm an expert on the topic afterall. Or so I've read.... ;)

McCain may not be your candidate; and he ain't mine either....but he ain't George W. Bush, the third term. Unless you are a moron.

RobYou are dreaming Rob he is going balls deep on Bush and Rove while jerking off Cheney. This is nothing close to the 2000 McCain.

When did you give penchief your login info?I am realistic, having followed politics for 45 years (first interest the Kennedy convention). McCain is selling out to Bush, Rove and Cheney for their bullshit strategies towards a win. Probably got the Supremes all warmed up.
