The Ravens VS the Texans has had the plug pulled. I guess Ike tore up the roof and they said there is no way it will be ready for Monday night.

On a side note, it has been brought to my attention that there is ANOTHER MNF game, (Philly at Dallas (they still have a roof) so no need to watch reruns of Doogie Howser M.D. That is all...........

I caught this a few minutes ago on the news, so no link but:

Isn't Philly/Dallas MNF this week? Or did they have another double-header?

Philly/Dallas is on ESPN and Baltimore/Houston was supposed to be on CBS.... hadn't heard CBS was supposed to have a MNF game this year.

Your thread title is misleading. As far as I have heard, Dallas/Philly is still Monday night. The Houston game was a Sunday game, they moved it to Monday because of Ike, before it hit.

That game was only going to be on in the Baltimore and Houston CBS affiliates.

The Houston game was moved to Monday because of the hurricane... I'm guessing it would've just been on CBS locally. The Dallas game was the regularly scheduled MNF game, and I'm assuming will go on as scheduled.

Why don't they just play in Baltimore?

Yeah, Dallas vs Philly is the ESPN MNF game, i believe the texans game wasn't supposed to be on nationally anyway. I suggest fantasy wise bench those players on the Ravens/Texans

Yep, but if Reliant took that much damage, the Astrodome is probably a smoking pile of rubble right now.

I was in Houston last year for the opener, and it looks like it's being held together with matchsticks and chewing gum.

Regarding the game: Why not play Monday night in San Antonio?

The game has been rescheduled to November 9th.

That's ****ing retarded.

Giving two franchises a Week 2 bye, then bringing the Bengals into it by switching THEIR bye week.

Half the league's stadiums are empty on Sunday, the rest all empty on Monday, and this is the best they could come up with?

Having a week 2 bye is pretty crappy for both teams. I'm sure that Houston would have had to refund the money to all of the people that had bought tickets to the game if they would have played it in another city like San Antonio.

Wow, you guys are struggling with what is going on. The Hou game was moved to monday due to IKE then the stadium was damaged. Once the roof was all torn up they moved the game to week 10 or so. PHI vs DAL was always the regular scheduled game.
