I don't pay too much attention to these ads unless they attack people and are pretty funny.

But, I think the style of this ad, how it seems as though McCain is talking directly to the person watching is probably pretty effective.

Are there lots of other ads delivered in this way, or is this one unique?

Yes I am so glad that miss messiah and the missing maverick saved me.

Hmmm, interesting. I guess they all cant be negative, but thats not bad for a "positive" ad.

However, even though I'd prefer to see fewer of them, negative ads are what works so hopefully this wont be a waste of money.

ROFL Gotta admit that was funny!

The rule is if you are ahead in the polls you run positive AND negative ads. If you are behind then you run negative and negative ads. So with the bump. . .

It comes off as comforting IMO, I really like it.

Did you feel sort of warm and fuzzy, like you just got tucked in to bed?

entertaining and brutally direct at the same time...

i think linking mccain to the policies of the bush administration is a good tactic at this point...

both wrt the economy (which could be imploding, given the failures in the financial sector)...

and wrt the wars...

what i'm wondering is when the o campaign will start bringing up mccain's age and the very real possibility of palin becoming president...

just think, harriet palin could become president of the united states of america...

Interesting. Makes sense, Obama's positive ads stopped roughly a couple weeks ago on my TV.

...

just think, harriet palin could become president of the united states of america...I am voting Obama just for that reason, otherwise I would be on the sidelines looking for a 3rd party candidate.
