View Full Version : Is this asinine?

Currently in my bigger money league I've got Pittsburgh as my defense. After watching Philly in week one and week two (albeit - not against stellar D's) I've decided (maybe against my better judgment) to not play them.

Is it completely insane for me to pick up Atl's D against KC this week? I know Atl won't get many turnovers (unless Thigpen is QB'ing), but I really don't think KC (again) won't score many points.

Defensive scoring is as follows:

Interception (2)
Fumble Recovery (2)
Touchdown (4)
Safety (2)
Kickoff and Punt Return Touchdowns (4)
Points Allowed 0 points (13)
Points Allowed 1-6 points (8)
Points Allowed 7-13 points (6)
Points Allowed 14-20 points (3)
Points Allowed 21-27 points (0)
Points Allowed 28-34 points (-3)
Points Allowed 35+ points (-5)

Is this your league where you have a limited amount of transactions?

Yessir - lemme list the available D's in the league too.

Also, Atl would play Chicago on Pitt's bye.

Zona @ Wash
Denver v. NO
Wash. v. Zona
Cincy @ NYG
KC @ Atl
SF v. Detwa
Then it's Detroit, NO, Miami, StL.

Slim pickins I'd say.

So, I've decided to play Atl's D against KC, opposed to Pittsburgh's D @ Philly.

GL me, lol.

Unless you already picked them up (and it's too late), I like Buffalo a lot better both this week against Oakland and long term.

Sir, earlier in this thread I posted which D's were available.

They're all pretty stagnant in my eyes.

We get the 5 FA acquisitions all year, and there's no roster requirements. Buffalo's D was already drafted.
