McCain: I would fire SEC Chairman Chris Cox!!!! :thumb:
Immediate Crowd Reaction: Yea!!! woo-hoo!!!
Analysts after review: Uh Sen. McCain, the president doesn't have the authority to fire the SEC Chairman. :shake:

McCain: I'm going to suspend my campaign and skip the debate to go work on the bailout bill in Washington DC. :thumb:
Immediate Crowd Reaction: Yea!!! woo-hoo!!!
Analysts after review: Uh Sen. McCain, you are not on the committee that will meet on the bill. You won't be allowed in the room. There's nothing you can do in DC until a vote is called. :shake:

What do you want to bet that McCain never approached the debate commission or Ole Miss about actually postponing the debate?
If he called them at all, it was only to make sure that his magic milk crate would be at the podium so he could boost himself up and look taller than he is.

McCain is just a twerp. Pretending to be a statesmen, but in fact, not even having the class to negotiate like a grown-up with the debate commission and the Obama camp.
