Whose the hottest. Pam or Karen? I don't think Angela or Kelly are really close at all. I think I would go with Pam, but you wouldn't lose much with Karen, she doesn't have twins as big as Pam's. "It's because of the twins...Michael can you be more specific....To be delicate, they hang from me ladies chest, they make milk". Thats from the Depostition episode....good stuff.

I wonder how similar MOhillbilly is to Roy, Roy was a bit of a redneck.

MOhillbilly

always thought roy was a dick. just like he is supposed to be. but when jim put himself out on a ledge and pam shit on him not once but twice, that was enough for me.

Karen is definitely better looking. But Pam has a good personality, enough to even it out.

No way, I also think Angela is hot. I love pastey skinned women. She's also a total freak. I have a thing for that, and she's doing Dwight on the side, which means an average Joe like me would totally have a shot. ;)

Yup, that had me laughing big time. And Michael saying he goes for the physical stuff first- then the friendship, was hilarious. It sets the season up to go back to the great stories of the 2nd and 3rd season. Ryan being back is awesome.

Ryan as receptionist was classic.

I really didn't grasp the vibe of what they were trying to do with Pam. They were selling some kind of growing connection between her and the random guy, but there was only one bit in her several conversations with Jim where that showed (she couldn't talk, and she told him why - 'making friends'). His popping the question didn't seem like a desperate act to me.

Michael is such an idiot when he's trying to impress her. Him ripping up the Counting Crows tickets was a total "what the frak?" moment.

Did anyone else think that Michael's goatee was going to be something to do with Ricky Gervais' character? Seemed like a definite nod to that.

The Office is often hilarious, but sometimes we're treated to scenes like that -- scenes which are transcendent to the point of genius.

I beg to differ. This season has been much better than last season.

I'd rank them
Season 2 (one of the best seasons of any television show ever)
Season 3
Season 1
Season 5 (so far)
Season 4

And yet seasons 5 and 4 are still better than 98% of everything else on television.

I dont know what season The Office is currently on, but I am halfway through season two. I just started watching it a week ago, and obviously season one is only 6 episodes, but damn this is the funniest show I've seen since Arrested Development. I love it.

I'm not going to read the rest of this thread, but I just had to get this out there. Somebody in my Office said that it falls off after season 2. Is this true?

That's fine. It's just the stuff like The Michael Scott Paper company where it gets off track. That was really un-funny. Ryan's character sucks. Andy's character sucks. They need more Creed. And more Dwight pranks. Haven't seen a good Dwight prank by Jim in forever.
