Have you been in a cave for the past year? It's no surprise at all that McCain believes that waterboarding is torture. Since Bush has acknowledged authorizing the use of waterboarding on 3 occasions, there's no news here. Of course, the argument about where the line that separates torture from non-torturous but harsh interrogation techniques remains unsettled, despite McCain's personal opinion on the subject.
