Huh? Who is they? The McCain spin team? "Of course it is" fits nowhere in the context of what's being said.

this was discussed on forums last night...higher quality feeds led many to think he wasn't cussing....
but who knows
I can see how he might not have said 'horsesh*t', but it's funny video.

I knew I heard him say "horseshit"!

More importantly, did McCain ever refute that claim?

See, I can't. The lips don't match "of course it is".
I saw this last night on teh webs. heh
All I hear is "ourse" so I can't rule it out but I seriously doubt that is what he said.
Once you have the word "horses**t" stuck in your head you can't hear it any other way. I'm sticking with that cause it's funny and I wouldn't hold it against him regardless. Seriously, if I was in a debate like that I'd probably end up saying way worse.
That's a f***ing lie, motherf***er!!!! You f***ing piece of s**t!!! I'll kick your f***ing ass!!! Get off me, I'm gonna kill that motherf***er!!!
Really, what's a little horses**t among friends?

Dude, are you my brother in law in disguise? That was almost word for word when he gets pissed. heh

I watched it on a high def feed on a 56" TV with a very nice Harman Kardon receiver. I told my friend to loop it back.
He mumbles "of course". The way he parses his lips makes you think he says "horseshit", but he doesn't.
It would have been endlessly hilarious had he done so, but he didn't.

How in the hell is "of course" anywhere in context of what is being said?

Of course I would tell you how I came to that conclusion if I weren't repeatedly getting cut off.

The jist of it was,
"Of course I know who the leader of Spain is". At least that's how I interpreted it. Maybe he did say horseshit, It's possible. But the live feed I saw on the huge TV with a good sound system seems to contradict that.

Huh? How does that make sense? That wasn't the question - who the leader of spain is.
McCain was vehemently disagreeing with Obama's characterization of what he said, and according to you, to voice that disagreement, he angrily muttered "Of course! Of course!"
Good grief!

Well, IIRC, Obama did say those exact words in that exact same situation last night. It's possible McCain did too.

Now that is a good question.
I thought he was saying, "Of course" as in "Of course he's going to bring the whole Spain gaffe up."
Horseshit? That describes both candidates quite well.

I know he didn't say 'horse sh*t', all I heard him say was bullsh*t',
If he didn't say "horsesh*t" then I think he said "of course they...(are aligned with us)."
