View Full Version : NFL Draft Teams that won't win 6 games this year

Rams
Lions
Bengals
Browns

I'm sure there are some others. The Chiefs probably, but they're the point of this thread. Everyone is talking about drafting our QBotf and the Lions are the only team listed above that would remotely be looking at QB.

Get over Matt Stafford. He may be the QB savior of this draft or he may not. Look at Matt Ryan, throughout the college season he replaced Brian Brohm as that guy last year. We don't know enough about the class, but we do know that a lot of teams that are losing games right now are set at QB.

I'll never root against this team for draft position again. I'm thrilled we got Dorsey but it was a dirty feeling. I'll take my chances with rooting for this team to win every week.

Draft position is 2nd to a new GM and coach. But it does feel good to win, it's been a long, long time.

The Rams will be looking for a QB.. Bulger says he will not play there any more. At least not for that coach.

Heh. The irony. Sounds similar to Trent's situation when he left KC.

It might mean getting Rey Maualaga instead of Matt Stafford. As much as I like Rey Rey, you cant really pass on a franchise QB even if I'm not completly sold on Stafford at this point.

Rams will probably be in the QB hunt.

When we steal Palmer
the Bengals will need a QB

Odds are we're gonna get a good QB in the first round. Whether that be Sanchez or that guy from Oklahoma

Honestly, I wouldn't be that shocked if none of the underclassmen QBs come out like everyone on this board seems to assume they will. QBs don't come out early as much as people think they do.

We may have to wait until the 2010 draft to get our QBOTF.

I highly doubt Linehan is around next season - he may not even survive this one...

The Rams will absolutely not be in the QB market anytime soon. It would be cap hell. It's the same reason Arizona can't pay Boldin now that they've paid Fitzgerald.

The Cardinals can pay Boldin.

They are choosing not to re-work his deal.

If hope is lost on Brodie, I hope every damn QB prospect comes out.

Yea it's more about wanting Herm and Carl gone but getting a QB is just about as important....if we aren't in position to get a QB then we damn well better get a DE.

Good friggin call.

Hey is there any chance that Rey's knee injury will drop him to the second round??

Well, I want them gone too. But if they're able to take this group and win 6-8 games with no QB and how young they are, I'm down for one more year to stock pile talent. They're going to do that regardless. I expect great drafts until they're gone.

As of now his injury is described as a sprain, I heard he may miss a game but that's what it's thought of as of now.

Then in the 2nd round we might take a look at Spikes outta FLA. Or is he a first round lock?

No he's not, I doubt 3 MLB's will go 1st round and Spikes isn't a senior so...

Also Selvie likely won't be the #1 rated DE so that helps.

I actually haven't seen any of their games....I think his pure physical talent wil get him the #1 DE ranking, 6'7 250 with room to grow.
