It seems like he is busting in front of us. Did he only pick up the scraps Jared Allen left for him in the past?

sacks come in bunches
Allen isnt tearing it up

a bust?

dunno about that, but Hali has been a bit of a disappointment so far.

you expect a 1st round pick to be a quality starter and it's looking more and more like Hali will be a quality backup.

Does he even have a QB pressure?

He's out of position. He should be at LDE, but we just don't have anyone else to put at RDE.

He kinda sucks, but im hoping he can be a solid DE when we get a real pass rusher, which he isn't.

we should of left him at LDE

you shouldn't screw up another position up trying to fix 1 ... you just end up with 2 messed up positions

should of just put McBride at RDE

Without a doubt he is edging closer and closer to bust status every single day. You don't draft an end in the 1st round and hope he'll be an outstanding backup, or an average starter. You expect him to produce and go to pro bowls at some point. Tamba hasn't given me any reason to believe he'll be that guy. This is the first time I've said this, and he certainly has the rest of the year to change my mind. So far, no good though.

He needs to play LDE.......end of story. Turk even played RDE in college IIRC.

We have had this dicussion before....but who would you have drafted after him? Really most of the guys around when the Chiefs picked havent been all that except Addai, and the Chiefs didnt need a RB.

Jonathan Joseph, Santonio Holmes, and Nick Mangold are all quality players that we could use.

I believe santonio holmes was picked just a few after tamba was. back then we were not wr rich either so it could have been a good pick for us.

we would have probably ruined him though so its just as well...

I won't argue that. I'm not blaming anyone for the pick either. All I'm saying is the young man hasn't progressed like anyone had hoped. By 1st round standards, regardless of who else was or was not available, he's about to reach bust status.

Late 2nd rounder. He wasn't a viable pick in the first round, at least not without hindsight.
