View Full Version : Meachem's value??

What's everyone's opinion on this guy? Right now he's been VERY solid. The one thing I'm worried about is does his value decrease when Colston comes back?

I'm very tempted to use one of my 5 (all year, we only get 5) pickups on this guy.

My WR is garbage depth-wise: Houshmanzadeh, Fitzgerald, Mason, Hackett.

I'd only start Meachem on Housh's or Fitz's bye week.

NO plays Carolina on Zona's bye week and NO plays ATL on Cincy's bye week.

I think Meachem is a solid #3 WR on a deep FF squad.

Other available WRs include: Darrell Jackson, Mark Clayton, Marty Booker, Arnaz Battle, James Jones, Stokely, Ike Hilliard, Lance Moore, Miles Austin, Camarillo, Furrey, Brandon Jones, Jordy Nelson, Steve Breaston.

Thats pretty fair. Right now hes hot, but when Colston returns his value drops some.

The Saints offense is so dynamic, you never know whos going to get the catches from week to week...

But they throw so much, hes almost gauanteed to get at least 50 yards recieving every week.

Meachem's not catching a ton of balls and Lance Moore is seeing way more targets. Personally, I think Moore has more value going forward.

That said, it's a long season. I wouldn't blow all of your pickups early.
