And I have never seen it before...

401-Keg

If you had purchased $1,000 of shares in Delta Airlines one year ago, you will have $49.00 today.

If you had purchased $1,000 of shares in AIG one year ago, you will have $33.00 today.

If you had purchased $1,000 of shares in Lehman Brothers one year ago, you will have $0.00 today.

But, if you had purchased $1,000 worth of beer one year ago, drank all the beer, then turned in the aluminum cans for recycling refund, you will have received a return of $214.00.

Based on the above, the best current investment plan is to drink heavily & recycle. It is called the 401-Keg.

A recent study found that the average American walks about 900 miles a year. Another study found that Americans drink, on average, 22 gallons of alcohol a year. That means that, on average, Americans get about 41 miles to the gallon! Makes you proud to be an American!

$214 for 1000 beer cans?

33 aluminum cans = 1 pound

1 pound of aluminum is selling for $1.15

1000 / 33 = 30.3 pounds x $1.15 = $34.85

So the moral of the story is... You'd have a better time pissing your money away in beer than the others.

A 12 pack of beer runs around $10 to $12. The tax here is high so it was just easy to go with $1.00 a can.

1000 / 1 = 1000 cans of beer.

OK, so you drink really shitty beer and have 2500 cans of beer. There is no way that you get $214 dollars for 2500 beer cans. Thats just stupid.
I am done. This is a stupid thread. You win. I suck.
