I saw it Saturday and thought it was dead-on.

And hilarious.

Ive never really thought he was a very good actor.

Excellent impression of him there by Samberg.

I've really only liked him in The Departed, but that was more the writing.

I happened to watch SNL this week for the first time in years and saw that skit. I didn't get it. Can someone explain?

I am completely out of touch with pop culture and entertainment.

There is nothing really to get. Its basically just a parody of Mark Wahlbergs one note acting ability.

I'd say quarter-note ability.

There's something about that sketch that was just perfect.

Wha???

Departed, Boogie Nights, Shooter, Fear... Invincible and four Brothers were not horrible either..

I am not saying he is an amazing actor everytime but he does quite well in certain roles.. I think/hope Max Payne will be a great movie, what Constantine was not..

He wasn't bad in Three Kings.

He did steal the show in The Departed.

Really?

I expect Max Payne to be an epic failure.

And Invincible and Four Brothers were horrendous. Shooter too.

For the first 20 seconds.

False. It needed to be as long as it was for it to be effective.

TRUST ME, I'M A DOCTOR.

It was just right for me, the sweet spot of off-beat humor that I'm looking for in a quality SNL sketch.

If I was Lorne, my 'note' would be 'more of that, not 'that' that, but like that.'
