Not only that but it the progressive income tax was passed by the Republican party. The Democrats pushed for it earlier but the Rs passed it. Mac is a socialist...a national socialist.

That's a matter of opinion. I don't think it's a good way to tax for even non-revenue reasons.

No, but perhaps you missed my sarcastic point?
The McCain campaign is calling an Obama a socialist for the same idea McCain was espousing in 2000.
Fiscal liberalism and fiscal conservatism are labels that really mean nothing to me. Spending money wildly and slashing funding of important underfunded programs are both silly and extreme. I think most can agree there needs to be a happy medium.
