Laugh. Yuk it up.

I'll wager that JP, as annoying as he can be at times, will pony up and do exactly what he has pledged to do, and that is uphold the orders of the Commander in Chief....as 99.9% of the rest of the military members will do.

Will they like Obama cutting the defense budget by 25%? hacking bases and personell like Clinton? Probably not. But they'll do what they're told, just as they have under Bush.

Good for him. Though, he's said multiple times he cannot serve a communist.

As Adept has said (paraphrased), I admire the uniform but I detest the man.

I suspect you are right. IMO, that's one of the things that makes this country great.

Still, I can't resist this response to the following post.

He ain't my president. He's your president.

What's amusing is that Obama is a MUCH better christian than McCain. McCain's whole life has basically been about shitting all over the bible.

This is true. Just compare their family lives, where Barack has married one woman and remained faithful to her.

US Army Oath of Enlistment:

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.

As I have said many times before, I served faithfully for 8 years under Bill Clinton. I will finish my contract under an Obama administration, deploy, fight and sacrifice for my country under a President Barack Obama.

The other thing you do not understand is what it means to be loyal to your country and wear the American flag on your sleeve in foreign lands at great risk to yourself regardless of who the President is or what the reasons were that you were deployed.

Loyalty to and love of country is demonstrated by deeds, not words.
