Was that Hail to the Cheat ?

You know what bro? That stuff is getting old already. I can tell that you voted for McCain. But it looks as if your fellow Americans have decided to go with Obama. So with it being almost over, its time to get behind the new President and give him a chance. He is now the President Elect. That being the case, hopefully the Country will join together and be UNITED.

And fear was overwhelmingly rejected.

Until the buyers remorse sets in. Good luck with that.I'll never be remorseful of helping bring the race barrier down a notch. I will never be remorseful about getting away from a war that we have NO business being in and devaluing American and Iraqi lives in the process.

Then you should be thrilled with Obama.

No, I'm not. IF, If I get this major account next month or in Jan. it will put me in that upper tax bracket and I have suffered, worked my ass off to get there. With no retirement, now he wants some other jackass to get a big chunk of it.

I said , IF.

If I don't get it, I retire and go on disability.

Barack is technically a baby-boomer.

This is true, but he just brought a younger generation into the mix that only Jack Kennedy, followed by his brother Booby has done .

hummmm just thought about my grandma. I wonder if if she ever thought she would see a black dude in officeI actually talked to my Grandma tonight. She said when she had her first job when she was 17, she worked as a waitress and she had to serve black people outside of the restaraunt..and now we have a black man as President. She said something along the lines of "It might not be a big deal to you, because your generation didn't have the sort of divisions mine did, but this is amazing. It's about time."

I never thought my Grandma would vote for a black man, and I'm not saying she's racist, but she was born and raised in Ohio and lived in MO for most of her life, so she's got quite a few conservative tendancies and she was the one sending me dumb chain e-mails about Obama in the beginning, and believing all the fear-mongerers..but Obama changed her mind somehow.

What'd I do? Laugh at your calling out of people's partisanship while foaming at the mouth for Lew Rockwell?

I understand the appeal to the Cult of the Executive and everything, but honestly. . . this isn't America's Royal Family.

(Loved all the clips of Oprah on the news channels, btw! Cause she totally matters more than anyone else)
