Saints are pretenders with an awesume offense. They are basically the 02-05 Chiefs.

Meh. I'm a baseball fan on a football site and the Chiefs aren't going anywhere this year (ignore my prediction on the other thread... that was for laughs) so show me the money.

Until KC shows an ability to adjust at halftime, I have to pick against them.

actually it's a mixed bag some are pessimistic while others just believe KC circa 03-05 they'll just outscore the Chiefs in a shootout

Brees is picked in the endzone in the final minutes by Carr or Page. I havent decided who should when the game for us.

Our defense is beat to shit. Let alone the fact that we're young, and just learning how to compete. This team doesn't know how to win at all.

Chiefs win a game at home and Thiggy / LJ (drink spitter) are heroes. Props to Chan for exploiting their D with LJ/Spread offense.

I thought the Saints would be better then their record this year for sure.

I have mixed feelings about this game. The optimist in me says even despite the fact the Chiefs defense is banged up, I do think they have the capability of turning the ball over. I have seen some Saints football this season, and they have been sloppy at times. Giving me reason to believe that makes things easier for the Chiefs defense. Plus, arrowhead is not an easy place to play on Sundays.

The pessimist in me says. The Chiefs are facing Drew Brees without a passrush. That spells danger right there. I honestly think the Chiefs defense are going to have their hands full this Sunday. Also, the Chiefs coaching staff inability to make adjustments during games bothers me somewhat. And gives most fans that gut feeling they'll find a way to blow this game.

i see a close one here, but Im gonna have to give the edge to the Saints.

38-28

*Is Reggie bush playing this Sunday? Or is he still hurt. If he is out, one less weapon on their offense to be concerned about.

If the game is close at halftime or the Chiefs are ahead, I'll be curious to see what adjustments are made offensively.

You know what's gonna be really funny?

When the offense is worse with LJ playing since he can really only play in 1 kind of offense and a shotgun spread isn't it...

I can't wait to see the reactions to how this goes.

If LJ could catch out of the backfield, that would be something.

I'm trying to figure out a situation where our pass D, which gave up 350 to Phil Rivers and the Chargers, keeps the Saints under 400 yards. I don't see it.

I dont know why but I dont even want LJ to play. He might prove me wrong and rush for 150 yards but for some reason im not even excited to have him back. Id rather give the carries to charles.

Unless there is a blizzard, Brees is going to throw for so many yards that he may end up having to miss the following game with a sore arm. :shake:

I want Charles to rest his ankle, and to see what LJ can do with D spread out. I have a feeling LJ is about to have a resurgence.

You guys.....for the spread out offense to work 2 of the very most important things the RB does is be a competent receiver and pick up blocks....doesn't sound to good for LJ does it?

Also the Saints expect Bush to play.

This is the NFL, not college. We aren't running the full blown spread offense.

I expect Larry to do most of the running out of the spread, and JC & Co. to handle most of the rest.

The other side of the coin is the Saints D though. Plus their best CB, McKensie is out.

"Most". If he's doing most of it, then play action becomes much more effective with him in the lineup, and does not rely to heavily on him to receive, or pick up blockers. Ya dig?

Draws, and delays become more effective with the other two.

The only plus is that McKensie, their Flowers, is out too.

So we can only hope for a shootout and Thiggy's numbers to be good.
