All these years after Lenny Bruce led us into George (and Richard), we still can't see the Seven Dirty Words here.

I can.

You can turn off the word filters.

YOU are resorting to quoting George Carlin?!? ROFL

Let's explore just a few of his other principles, shall we?

"A casual stroll through the lunatic asylum shows that faith does not prove anything. "

"In Christianity neither morality nor religion come into contact with reality at any point."

"After coming into contact with a religious man I always feel I must wash my hands. "

That should be enough to get you to wash off YOUR hands - or keyboard maybe.

Something tells me you've never actually read him.

ROFL

The thing is, he wasn't a comedian per se, he just described things in a way that was brutally honest, and it just made you laugh hyterically.

I like this one about all the save the planet phoneys:

I'd trade Dane Cook, Adam Sandler, the entire casts of SNL and MAD TV, Johnny Knoxville and his assorted cretins, and most of the Comedy Central stand-up lineup for another decade of George Carlin.

He was one of the last in a dying breed. Him and Rickles started comedy for me.

I miss George. I don't always agree with his ideas, but he was extremely well spoken and thought provoking.
