I've told this story, but several months ago, my wife asked me to take it easy on him. Since that time, I haven't called him one name, or made one statement about him that wasn't black and white fact. I've gone so far as to try and engage him honestly on topics he seems to care about. In that time, he has done nothing but insult me, make things up (lie), and cry. Even in the face of the insults and lies, I still never returned that back to him. I did ask him questions, to try and get him to back up his statements, or explain himself when he said something. If that is "bullying," then someone has a fucked up definition of bullying.
As for my thread about his insults...I'll say it again...that was an attempt to bring his muck out of regular threads, and into one depository. Tom is not a victim. He hasn't been "bullied" into anything.
I've told this story, but several months ago, my wife asked me to take it easy on him. Since that time, I haven't called him one name, or made one statement about him that wasn't black and white fact. I've gone so far as to try and engage him honestly on topics he seems to care about. In that time, he has done nothing but insult me, make things up (lie), and cry. Even in the face of the insults and lies, I still never returned that back to him. I did ask him questions, to try and get him to back up his statements, or explain himself when he said something. If that is "bullying," then someone has a ****ed up definition of bullying.
As for my thread about his insults...I'll say it again...that was an attempt to bring his muck out of regular threads, and into one depository. Bottom lne is this...if he didn't insult/threaten/wish harm on posters. If he didn't threaten to sue posters. If he didn't continue to do to me exactly what I ws not doing to him...the thread would have died off quickly and quietly.
The very act of asking him about his faith, in his mind, was an insult. How the hell can that be...a question is an insult...

But to argue that somehow he's been a victim is to ignore his role in being the instigator of (in my case) EVERY SINGLE ARGUMENT we've been in. So much for the personal responsibility of the conservatives.

He does plenty to bring things on himself. That's why I ignore so much of what he posts and why I don't really shed any tears when he gets himself banned. But that doesn't justify the actions of you and the rest of the dopes who so often go out of your way to verbally beat the shit out of him just for fun.
