As part of my younger brother's Christmas gift, I'm creating a roster file on Madden 09 with the best, and some of his favorite Chiefs players of all time using the create-a-player option. I could consult the record books, but I'd appreciate some help from the board. Maybe some opinions on some of the best players to wear a Chiefs uniform. Or perhaps you'd like to bash me for the including and/or neglect of certain players. Keep in mind, some of these are his favorite players, whether or not you or I believe they deserve a spot on the All-Chiefs team, their inclusion is important, and I've covered his favorites anyway (there were only a few).

Now, the roster (so far) is as follows:

Offense
QB: Dawson, Montana, Green, Deberg (Green and Deberg are favorites of his, can't change them)
RB: Allen, Okoye, Podolak, Holmes
FB: ?
WR: Taylor (So far, I'm not sure who to include. We have Birden, maybe Carson. Chiefs experts can help me out here)
TE: Gonzalez (who can fill the second string spot?)
LT: Alt
LG: Szott
C: Rudnay
RG: Shields
RT: Tyrer

Defense
LE: ?
RE: Smith
DT: Buchanan, Saleaumua
LOLB: Bell (That's Bobby. No Kendrell Bell jokes)
MLB: Lanier
ROLB: Thomas
CB: Lewis (Who else?)
FS: Cherry
SS: ?

Special Teams
K: Stenurud
P: ?

Podolak might have been productive and might be a favorite but I'm not sure he belongs on an all-time list in terms of pure talent. This is coming from a Hawkeye homer.

DE = Art Still
CB = Emmitt Thomas
P = current MVP
S = Kevin Ross

Nope, more of a blue collar guy. The Christmas Day game was his claim to fame.
