I never saw the Ganz coached teams but I can't imagine it could have been much worse.

Probably the one who never got a playoff win .... Oh wait.... :banghead:

As it has said under my name since he was hired 3 years ago, Herm is the 2nd coming of Gunther. Which one is/was worse is a needless debate. They both suck. And they're both still here.

It's pretty hardcore to not recognize the Dallas Texans in the poll.

Excuse me? Gunther was 16-16 in his first 2 years. DV was 14-18 and Herm was 13-19.

Herm might be worse than Ganz.

Ganz had to coach during the players strike of 87. That would give him a pass for a few games.

DV gave us the best offense in team history. I believe if we had a mediocre defense that year we would have won the superbowl

Well Herm is giving us the worse Defense in team history... If we had a defense that was mediocre, we would be still a sub .500 team, but we wouldnt be no where near as embarrasing as Herm likes us to be....

Gansz, by far.

He had Steve DeBerg, Paul Palmer, Carlos Carson, Stephone Paige, Jonathan Hayes, John Alt, Christian Okoye, Irv Eatman, Mark Adickes and Paul Palmer on offense.

On defense, Neil Smith, Art Still, Mike Bell, Dino Hackett, Bill Maas, Lloyd Burress, Deron Cherry, Albert Lewis, Kevin Ross, JC Pearson and Jack Del Rio.

Nick Lowery was the place kicker.

It's not even fucking close.

but did Gansz lose 19 of 20 games at one point?
Herm has found ways to look stupid on the field and off the field, and everywhere inbetween

You're a dumbfuck.

Herm had a record of 9-8 with one playoff loss with a reasonably talented team.

That was 2006.

Frank Gansz was an imbecile. PERIOD.

I still hold a lot of anger at Levy. Just burns me to see what he was able to do for the Bills after leaving here. Of course maybe it was a better owner & GM situation there?

Just really wish he could have been as good here.

I talked to my dad about this, a real Chiefs old timer.

He says that yes, Gansz was terrible (as many of you oldies know), but said the difference between Gansz & Herm is that Gansz would take alot of the accountability for the suck going on on the field. While Herm piles on excuse after excuse, and this in his opinion makes Herm worse.

Those old timers, love a guy manning up & owning / taking accountability for screwing thing up. Herm doesn't have that.

Give Herm the 1988 Chiefs with that line, DeBerg, Okoye and that defense and they're 8-8 at worst.

Before this year i probably would have automatically said Wiggin, but now i am not so sure.

5-22 and counting over two seasons is a hard suckage factor to beat.
