View Full Version : Poop whats up? (nite crew thread)

So it's been awhile since I've started a thread and even longer since i've seen or posted on a nonsense nite thread. In that spirit I thought I would start one tonight.
I've now got one of those jobs were I can post from work here at nite, though I do have to wander off and work, and post every 1/2 hour or so. So any of the "old" nite crew still around? If so what's new in your world? Not a lot here just working:rolleyes: and taking care of my kids. Oh I guess the new thing in my life right now is I can drive again. The state of Wyoming saw fit to give me back my license after a 6 month suspension. Of course my daughter accuses me of acting like a 16 y/o now that I can drive again. Really never knew how much driving ment untill I couln't do it. Good thing is I got a lot of exercise riding my bike this summer, and missed the really high gas prices.
Anway thats all for the moment, feel free to comment or post stupid crap about whatever you want. Or if some of the old gang see's this feel free to insult me as was allways the case in the past.ROFL I'll check back in half our or so. ............

12/8/08 Just bumping this for the nite, instead of starting a new one. Guess it'll be the running thread in hopes that all can enjoy & maybe some of the old timers will see this and join again.

Feel free to post whatever crap you want.

My printer just about died tonight. I was needing to get my sermon printed off. Sent it from the laptop to the main computer printer 10-15 times and the printer wouldn't go. I restarted the computer several times and was about to the point of picking the printer up and setting it back down again in a really, really, really firm fashion. Thankfully the second restart got things going right and my printer was saved from it's pending separation of parts, just in time to head out the door for church.

Don't worry, I seen a ghost show on tv a month or so back. You are fine unless, while walking through the darkness to the light switch you walk through a cold spot. If you feel a cold spot though, be very carefull! Zack got all scratched up by the ghost when he felt the cold spot on the show.

I'm the Nite security/Driver/Janitor/Maintainence, etc. Very boring this time of year, only 20 rooms out of 250 full tonight.

Still taking classes to get my Paramedic Lic back, and working on RN at same time. Kinda had to lay off the classes for the past year, divorce and kids really limited my time, along with a little unplanned vacation.

But stuff coming togather ( I hope ) so maybe it will settle down for now.

Not a RN I wish, I am a CNA get all the dirty work for less pay, but I do love patient care but I have tried a lot of different things, like selling cars to driving a truck for a while. I work in a hospital on the medical surgical floor but putting in my transfer to the ER which I hope I get. I really miss sassy, she has such a personality and she gets mad at me at times and won't look at me. :)

Well its been a busy night here really busy, just got to sit down and have time to post anything.

Did you get much sleep? I went to sleep at 11o'clock and got up at 4:30, but I am really tired to have gotten 5 1/2 hours sleep.:(

Not a lot, ex was supposed to take the 3 y/o this morning, but wouldn't answer her door, so had to take him to daycare. Didn't get to lay won till 9 then woke up at 2. so got about the same amount.

Did get a 2 hour nap before I came in at 11 tonight, daughter got the boys to bed for me.

It's another slow nite here, so trying to take my time and make the work last.

why didn't your x answer the door? Does she not want anything to do with her children? I would have been glad to have been able to take him for the day if I was her, well of course if I was her I would be raising them and you would have joint custody, I would fight to the death to make sure my kids stayed with me, although when they got older I gave them the choice of who they would live with. I told them I would never force them to live with me. they all stayed until my baby son turned 15 and then he wanted to go live with his dad.

I don't understand women who give up their kids to anyone for any reason they are a real slimeball IMO.

Supposedely they didn't hear me knocking.

As for the custody, not really sure myself, other than she admits I'm a great parent. I have my theories on why she gave me custody in the divorce, but would rather not disscuss it here, as she does have an account here and knows I post a lot. Don't need the "drama" if she were to read it.
