Just saw this today. The TV announcers said nothing about it but it definitely was blocked.

Huh, I was listening to the game on the radio and the announcers said right away it was blocked.

It looked blocked on High Def yesterday.... we commented there at bar.

thanks for confirming the sh1t-a$$ announcers didn't see it.

Yeah I did. An amazing kick to get hit and still make it to the uprights from that distance.

I was terrified too...that dude has a f*cking leg.

I would have been worried from 60 yards out with that guy kicking.

Did that blocked kick bounce off the horozontal bar of the uprights back into the endzone or just land in the endzone right in front of the uprights? That was what I wasn't sure of.

which also seemed to indicate a block, TV announcers weren't saying sh1t.

The announcers said it just didn't have the distance. I had no idea it was blocked.

I didn't even know it was a block until today.

I thought it was blocked, but I didn't see any replays, so I wasn't 100% sure.

I saw it from the endzone and it looked like it never got to the uprights. It only got about 5 feet off the ground. I can't be sure though.

It looked blocked...the way it petered out after like 10 yards should have been a good indication.

Didn't you guys watch that kid drill that one from like 45 earlier in the game? I knew he didn't hit it wrong, he just had to get it really low for that sort of distance in the snow.

It just goes to show how big of dipshits some networks put in the booth, sometimes it seems like they're not even watching the game.

I was too excited and don't get FSNHD so I didn't see it and only had to go on what the announcers said.

Yeah, I had no clue. Because the station I was watching went out with :37 seconds left on the game. It froze in the middle of the play where the Mizzou guy intercepted the ball but it froze before he dragged his foot. Didn't matter, they didn't give it to him anyway.

The 45 yarder was halfway up the uprights. I was thinking then that the kid could have hit from another 10 yards out.

The announcer on FSN said something like: "He kicked the ball higher up than usual to get the necessary distance" or something similar.

He was good from 55 with the trajectory on his first FG. If he would have had that same trajectory on the last FG, we might have had a different outcome altogether. But he got low on it.

That guy will play on Sundays if he can kick that long and straight.

The Chiefs are thinking about drafting that kicker... but won't because he didn't go to UCLA.

I knew it was blocked because Wolfert has a leg to make it from 60 yards.

Yeah sportscenter didn't say anything about it being blocked. It was disappointing.

Well no shit it was blocked. Has anyone heard of Wolfert before? He definitely has the leg to kick that far.

At the game, it definitely looked blocked just for how short it was, and it was way short.

I thought the KU kicker did pretty well too. He made two tackles on kickoff runbacks. He knocked one guy asshole over appetite.

I thought it was pretty obvious from the replay and from the players reactions. If I'm not mistaken a couple of guys along the line saw the block and reacted immediately. The ball landed a few yards just over the goal line.

Ya i noticed it was a block, the announcers on tv did not mention it though, they just called it short.

By the way that FSN crew had to be the worst freaking tv announcing crew ever.

I was way the eff up in section 304, but it looked liked it was blocked from up there. I just assumed it was. Also, from where I was it didn't look like it got even halfway to the uprights; let alone hitting them. But, that could have been the adrenaline clouding my sight at that point.

Great win! Best football game I've been to in, well, ever I think. The closest one that I can think of was Chiefs vs. Denver. 4th and goal from the 1 yard line. Down 3. We opt to get the win on a halfback dive with no time on the clock.

But, this KU/MU rivalry was significantly more heated. So, this was probably more exciting.

It froze in the middle of the play where the Mizzou guy intercepted the ball but it froze before he dragged his foot. Didn't matter, they didn't give it to him anyway. Then you missed the part where he never had possession. It bobbled out of his hands on his way to the turf.
