I guess he is picking a good time to leave considering what MU will lose after this season.

Agreed....his stock is as high as it's going to get I think as an offensive coach

No surprise. Pinkel has kept that same staff together for a while. Successful teams have good coordinators and there is a BIG need for head coaches each and every year...it was bound to happen. KU has lost some good assistants in recent years and it hasn't been easy to replace them.

Maybe now we can develop an I-formation.

Tulane needs to make Eberflus their head coach.

MU played a single back formation with Daniel under center against KU.

I heard he is interviewing with Toledo for their HC job, please go, GTFO

I know he's an alum, but, given the defenses he's produced, why would any program be remotely interested in this guy?

Pinkel was just signed to a blockbuster deal a few games before he loses Chase Daniel and the OC responsible for the Offensive gameplanning. Guess we'll see if Pinkel is worth the $$$ he'll be getting.

David Yost will most likely be promoted, which is a great move.

Seriously. The defense returned far too many starters to be as bad as it was this year. Their play yesterday was incomprehensibly awful. That head needs to fucking roll.

I would be happy to see him here, the Cowboys need a good coach

It seems like some guys regressed like crazy this year, and yes GROB jr needs to leave asap.

Anyone have any idea how hard it would be to recruit decent players to some place like Wyoming? There's nothing out there.

Yeah, that has been more than a little disconcerting. The secondary, a strength last season, has really suffered this year.

That formation he drew up against KU where there were guys spread all the way across and essentially no O-Line - genius. Worked like a charm.

Yeah, I'll miss that. He can take those nasty goddamn gold jerseys with him, too.

That's the second time I've seen that. Both times brought a genuine "WTF" reaction from me.

I saw that and immediately put my head in my hands because it was SO obvious what was going to happen...both offensively and defensively.

Isnt it like 2 hours from Denver?

Or Christiansen dumb ass 2 point conversation play which work if that was Coffman not freaking Alexander.

Actually, if the LT that was lined up out there doesn't ole' the block, Patton has time to catch the ball and do whatever he was supposed to do with it... poor execution really prevented us from seeing if the design was any good.

Think that was a QB decision... looked like on the replay that the slant on the opposite side of the field broke open underneath... but Daniel had already released the (bad) throw.

From what I saw, Daniel was fixated on Alexander the whole time.

Yeah, because he saw the same thing we did: Single coverage on Alexander with no safety help.

That probably was his primary read in that case. I don't like it, but Chase doesn't HAVE to make the throw. There were other things available...

Especially since Alexander has been dropping balls all year.

What's really sad is that as bad as he was, stat for stat this season and GROBs last season, he'd be an upgrade to Gunther.
