"The New Game." I'm sure that everyone that listens to rock radio knew this.
So I haven't even finished track one yet, but it feels like a real Mudvayne album again! Track one sounds like a perfect hybrid between "L.D. 50" and "The End of All Things to Come."
Hopefully the rest of the album is this good. **** "Lost and Found."

It's slipping downhill. Track 2 was ok and track 3 was just average. Where's the bass?
Oh, its back in track 4. Good.

To me they've been going downhill ever since L.D. 50.

They have. Indeed. Though I really liked The End of All Things to Come. It had this faintly progressive, Tool-inspired vibe. Ryan had some absolutely incredible bass playing on that record, though the bass was unfortunately a bit low in the mix for some reason.

OK, this album wasn't nearly as good as I had hoped it would be half-way through track one. Damn. Another average release from a band that has the capability of making incredible, thought-provoking, hard rock music.

Well alright....I won't be buying this one. Why is it that 6-7 years ago there was always a CD coming out every week that I bought. And now.....the last CD I bought was over 8 months ago.

Yup. I made this thread in a hizzy of excitement halfway through track 1 because it sounded like older Mudvayne. The rest of the album, well, didn't.
