Can't stand ESPN, but I heard that rumor on NFL Network a few days ago.

They said he might be a fallback option if they can't entice Cowher to Cleveland.

Marty is a GREAT coach...he's just what the Browns would need IMO.

He said on a telephone interview during the Chargers/Raiders game that he wasn't ready to come back. We'll have to see what happens.

Marty would get that franchise back on its feet, and quickly.

I honestly dont know why marty would want to come back? Hes got more money than God after the severance he recieved from both the Redskins and Bolts.

That's funny because I just heard a radio interview with Marty on Friday, and he said he wasn't really interested in coming back. on Colin Cowherd

I think the whole point was that they were interested in him. They did say that he hasn't said publically that he's interested in returning.

That makes more sense. He seemed very reluctant to return to coaching right now. Maybe he's just playing hard to get, waiting for the right offer.

or Cowher either.

Yea I'd hate it if we hired a coach who's won a super bowl in recent history and who's team was good almost every year.

The Rams could use him with the quickness, but their situation is too f@cked up for even Rich Kotite to seriously consider.

We don't want any proven winners here. We like to gamble on guys like Herm.
