What are your favorite episodes?

Also which DVD sets are the best?

Also which movie was the worst?

I'm sort of a n00b to this show, so the only one I can answer is the last one.

The Starfighters has to be the worst movie ever made.

Favorite Episodes -
Mitchell
Pod People
Final Sacrifice
Merlins Shop of Mystical Wonders
Touch of Satan
Overdrawn at the Memory Bank
"The Movie"

Sets -
We own all of them except the original 10 set, which is OOP.

Worst? Probably Cave Dwellers.

Favorite single moment was when they were watching a 'trade school' film made for high schoolers. They were listing the jobs skills you could get from vo-tech and when the guy listed 'Tool Operator' the crew started singing Tool Operator to the tune of Sade's Smooth Operator in full harmony. Laughed until I cried the first time I heard it.

Not sure really, the pod people was great...

I'd say any set really, go to amazon and search, most their sets have 4 1/2 stars by reviewers. They are expensive but sometimes you can get a set for $20 or so. The movie is a must own too.

The cheapest set right now $20....

The rest are between $38-45....just wait it out if you can, there is also the newest one which is the "20th anny edition". I have a few of those sets that are $44 on there that i got for $24.

No, have you seen The Starfighters?

I'm sure they are equally as bad.

It sucks the DVDs are so expensive.

I have not seen Starfighters, but it is very difficult for me to imagine a movie worse than Manos. I'm sure you think the same of Starfighters, though. The MST3K version is quite hilariuos, though.

"Produced as a result of a bet, Manos was an independent production by a crew that had little or no background or experience in filmmaking and a very limited budget at their disposal. Upon its theatrical debut, the film was poorly received, and remained obscure until its Mystery Science Theater appearance. It has since gained infamy as one of the worst films ever made."

Have you seen "Manos: Hands of Fate?"

ROFL

"Early in production, one of the actresses broke her leg, and Warren rewrote her role to have her make out in a car with an actor during the events of the entire film. The inclusion of these characters has been the focus of criticism for having no apparent connection to the main plot of the film."

from the best episode ever....."Space Mutiny"! Every time the "hero" (old USC football player Reb Brown) came on screen, they had a new name for him.

I still use names off that list for all kinds of stuff :)

They have a HUGE selection of them on NetFlix. I have around 30 titles in my que now. I would suggest that so you could view them before buying them. Of course, with MST3K you really can't go wrong! ROFL
