Funny enough, I had $0 at around 7:00 pm.

Blackjack to around 30k. Then Let It Ride. Started off with a few 1k hands. Then a couple at 5k. Had a little luck. Then a couple 10k hands. Hit. Went over 100k. From here on out, was playing 10k hands, pretty much exclusively.

1. Goodfellas & Godfather - tied, just different ways of approaching the matter
2. Sopranos - from an Italian who knows some of these guys, the first 3 episodes are as real as it gets without being shot at (no, I've never been shot, but know people who have and have killed)

Outside of there, it's glamorization and glitter but lots of good ones.

I think Once Upon a Time in America is an underrated film.

Mean Streets isn't bad.

Layer Cake is a British gangster movie. That's pretty good

I guess if Menace 2 Society can be included I'll throw Juice in there too.

You could make a case that On the Waterfront is a gangster film. That's a great old movie. I've watched it five or six times.

Responding to a PM that I'm being reported to the FBI:

For the record when I say I know people "who have killed" with the exception of one I haven't seen them since I was around five years old. They died in jail. The exception works at a pizza shop and has been straight for years now so there's no need to call the police. Or you can, I really don't care. I just thought it was a cool story to share that I knew some actuall gangsters.

Just responding to a PM and general response to anyone else who may feel like following it up.
