B. Eric DeCosta
C. Phil Savage
D. Scott Pioli

I value my reputation, BigChiefDave. You may choose option P. :D

Edit: And I'm not talking about the green dots under my username.

Not intending to spam CP, but ArrowheadPride does have a lot of good information about some of these candidates.

For example, information about Shack Harris is here (http://www.arrowheadpride.com/2008/12/23/700608/getting-to-know-a-gm-shack).

Cool. I'm not sure I care enough to look into it frankly, but looks like a good resource. I've been impressed with ArrowheadPride's stuff. It's like WPI, only with more intelligent commentary and with no attempt to act like they have some killer inside source.

I was thinking this very thing when I read about the clause in his contract. The only downfall would be se sign in and retire befor the rebuild is finished.

I started out on AP before I came to CP.

There is good football discussion there, but CP is more entertaining; the atmosphere is a little lighter, which I like.

You are probably correct; A poster's second and third choices would probably be more interesting and generate more discussion than the poster's first choice. :doh!:

Chris Landry of Fox Sports was a former member of the front office of the Browns when Pioli, and Belicek were there. He seemed to dance around a bit as he was trying to politely suggest that Scott Pioli might be staying in NE so long because he doesn't want to expose himself because Bill makes all the decisions in NE. He wasn't trashing him at all, but that was the implication I took from his words.

It was radio, so no TIVO = not transcript. Sorry.

That said, I'd rather take a chance on Pioli than just about anyone on the list. But i have no idea what I"m doing either.

Option D and if thats not an option for the Chiefs I would say Eric DeCosta, with Chris Polian as my 3rd choice.

What do you like about him?

He is young, look at Ravens draft record since 2003 when he took over, that he was scout first and worked his way up, not to mention when he scouted it was the Midwest that he covered.
