To the ship also means if you are talking about someone who believes in scientoligy or has like cult background or is just crazy. Like Tom Crews just made another movie then it's TO THE SHIP!

You think "going to the 'ship" is only said here? Ever seen the movie Hardball?

It means we should head to the boat.

Ship is a synonym.

NC lost to an unranked BC today. If they keep this up, they won't be "goin' to the 'ship".

there's more to it than just "we're going to the super bowl!!!"

i THINK maybe it's about people that always overreact

we sign a new kicker "championship!!"
a player gets hurt "we gonna lose every game!!"

always the extreme ...... always "To the ship" one way or another.

but i'm not sure

You know normally I would give that "holy crap dude, are you gay" if I saw a movie like bring it on in a man's dvd collection, but ususally I give that look, then both men's eye brows raise and yell out. BIKINI CAR WASH SCENE. That is followed by an ultra high five.

I believe the phrase "to the ship" started last year involving KC_Connection and KU football. Started out as a way to annoy MU fans more than anything, IMO. I don't know that KC_Connection truly believe KU football was going to the championship last year. But once he said it and MU fans voiced their displeasure, he ran with. And over and over and over.......

Well, you get the picture.

I think at this point he's nearly equally despised by KU and MU fans. The guy definitely puts the "ick" in dick.
