We get a new GM of course. He cans Herm and continues the rebuild.

Tony G is out the door for a 3rd. LJ is out the door by swapping our 4th for some other team's 3rd.

A team trades up for our 2nd round pick. As a result we move down about 10 spots in the round and pick up a 5th in the process.

All the possible 1st round QBs declare. Stafford, Bradford, Sanchez, Freeman, Tebow. Draft experts league wide are calling this the Marino/Elway/Blackledge draft part deaux.

1. QB Mark Sanchez, USC

2. DE Connor Barwin, Cincinnati

3. OLB Tyrone McKenzie, South Florida

3. C Eric Wood, Louisville

3. MLB Daniel Holtzclaw, Eastern Michigan

5. WR Tiquan Underwood, Rutgers

5. CB Lardarius Webb, Nicholls State

6. DE Willie VanDeSteeg, Minnesota

7. OLB Tyrell Sales, Penn State

I like to listen to "Too Much Time on my Hands" just as much as the next guy. Nice picks. Keep permuting all you want.

Isn't Sanchez's injury history similar to Brakie Croyle?

No offense, but I don't see any studs besides Sanchez.

epic fail.

this isn't HORRIBLE. at least he has us drafting a QB in the first, and at least said QB isn't named sam bradford.

you're insane... no way is Tyrell Sales good value there... we should trade down in the 7th, maybe then it would be good value... jeez... 7th round mocks aren't what they used to be...

Stafford is going to be on the board, seeing that the vikings qb need they are going to trade their 3rd for our number 3 pick. We are going to get two quality, solid defensive lineman with those pics, go 10-6 for 4 years then rebuild.

If we trade down to 10 or 11 I want Mau or Laurinaitis.

He traded down 10 spots in the SECOND round.

I'd be fine with this draft. You'd think we'd be able to find ONE LB out of that crop Direckshun has us drafting.

Is it speculative? You bet your ass it is. Would this be a good draft? I'd sure as hell like to see it.

I don't "mind" this draft necessarily, but I think the Chiefs will address the linebacker position in free agency and address the offensive line (C, RG, RT) in the draft.

There's more than a few linebackers in free agency that would quickly upgrade that unit whereas I'm not seeing that in O-lineman.

says the n00b with 10 whole posts :spock:

And that's a lot of red squares for only 10 posts.
